Trained in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy & Infant Feeding Physiotherapy
MScPT
Terri graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2011, following a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University. She began her career in orthopaedic private practice, where she supported clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Terri discovered her passion for pelvic health physiotherapy through her own perinatal experiences, which sparked a deep interest in supporting others through this transformative stage with confidence and autonomy. She has since completed extensive training in pelvic health, including female urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, perinatal care, and cesarean preparation and recovery.
After navigating a particularly challenging feeding journey with her first child, Terri’s interest in infant feeding and oral-motor development grew over time. In 2021, she began pursuing focused training in this area, including infant oral-motor function and both parental and infant factors contributing to breastfeeding and chestfeeding-related concerns. Her practice now bridges two interconnected areas of care: pelvic health and infant feeding.
Terri offers both one-on-one treatment and group-based physiotherapy and is passionate about helping her clients feel informed, empowered, and supported in how their bodies function—throughout the perinatal period and beyond.
Outside of work, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband and their three growing boys—whether that’s chasing adventures outdoors, cooking up something new, or managing the joyful noise of a busy household.
